MVP development for startups

Have a product idea? We turn it into a working product you can put in front of users and investors, with a clear scope, a realistic timeline, and no feature bloat.

What is an MVP?

An MVP, or minimum viable product, is the first version of your product with just the essential features: enough for real users to try it and for the idea to be tested in the market. Instead of a year of building toward "perfect", you get a working product in weeks and real answers: will anyone use it, what will they pay for, what needs to change.

A good MVP is not a lower-quality product. It is a deliberately narrow scope built on a solid architecture: once it launches and the market responds, the product can grow without a rewrite.

Who MVP development is for

  • Startups

You need a working product to attract users or back an investment round, fast and without burning the budget.

  • Businesses with an idea

You run an established business and see an opportunity for a digital product, but don’t want to bet a large budget before validating it.

  • Internal tools

You want to trial a new internal tool or process with one team before rolling it out across the organization.

How we build MVPs

A clear process from the first conversation to launch. You always know what is being built, why, and what comes next.

  1. Idea analysis

We map the problem, the users, and the success criteria, and answer the key question together: what must be validated first?

  2. Scope plan

We define the minimum feature set, pick the technology, and deliver a written scope with a timeline and a fixed price.

  3. Build

We ship in short, reviewable increments. You see progress continuously, not on demo day.

  4. Launch

We deploy to production, set up domains, analytics, and monitoring. The product is live for real users.

  5. Iterate

We help you read user signals and plan what comes next, or hand everything over to your team.

What you get

An MVP is not a prototype and not a slide deck. We launch a real, working product:

  • A working product in production with real users
  • A solid architecture ready to grow beyond the MVP stage
  • Authentication, database, and an admin panel as needed
  • Analytics and monitoring from day one
  • Version-controlled code that you own
  • Documentation and a smooth handover

Why AGI Studio

We build and operate our own SaaS products, including Zift, a finance management platform for startups. So we approach MVP questions from practice, not theory: we know what it takes to launch a product, run it in production, and grow it on user signals.

We are a founder-led studio: the people who plan your project are the people who build it. No intermediaries, no handoffs to a junior bench.

How much does MVP development cost?

Every idea is different, so we don’t quote from a generic price table. After the idea analysis, once it’s clear what actually needs to be built, you get a written scope with a fixed price and timeline: no hourly surprises, no creeping budget.

Our principle: the scope should be minimal, the quality should not. If a feature can be dropped without hurting the validation, we’ll recommend dropping it, even when that makes the project smaller for us.

Frequently asked questions

What is an MVP and how is it different from a prototype?

A prototype is a mockup for demonstrating an idea, often without working logic. An MVP (minimum viable product) is a real, working product with the essential features, used by real users. A prototype answers "what will it look like?"; an MVP answers "will anyone use it?".

How long does it take to build an MVP?

It depends on scope, but typically weeks, not months. We commit to a concrete timeline in the scope plan after the idea analysis. If you have a hard deadline (say, an investor demo day), we plan the scope backwards from it.

How much does an MVP cost?

The price depends on feature scope, integrations, and design needs. After a free idea analysis you get a written scope with a fixed price, with no hourly surprises. Write to us and you’ll know your concrete budget within days.

What technologies do you use?

A modern, proven web stack: TypeScript, current frontend frameworks, cloud infrastructure. We choose technology to fit the product, not the hype cycle. What matters is that the solution stays easy to maintain and extend, and the code stays readable for any team.

Can the MVP grow into a full product later?

Yes, that is exactly why we build it on a solid architecture. The MVP stage narrows the scope, not the quality. When the idea works, we keep growing the product in iterations; nothing needs to be rewritten.

What happens after launch?

Your choice: we can run the product under a support retainer (monitoring, updates, new features) or hand the code and documentation over to your team. Either way, you own the code.

How do we start?

Write to us about your idea; a few sentences is enough. We’ll set up a call to figure out whether the MVP route fits, and if it does, propose a scope and price. The call and the analysis are free of obligation.
