scrollecom Community Guidelines
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Summary
- scrollecom is a place to research products and talk shop. Keep comments useful, honest and respectful.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, threats, and illegal content. Abusive users lose their accounts.
- No links, spam or self-promotion in comments, and no fake engagement.
- Report anything that breaks these rules (long-press a comment), and block people you don’t want to hear from.
- We use filters, your reports and human review. If we act on your content, we tell you why, and you can ask us to review the decision.
These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. They apply to everything users share in scrollecom: comments, comment likes, nicknames (@handles) and profile photos, and to any other sharing features we add later.
1. Be respectful
In short: disagree with ideas, not people.
- No harassment or bullying. Don’t insult, mock, threaten, pile on or repeatedly target anyone, including other commenters, brands, creators or people in videos.
- No hate. Don’t attack or demean people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or serious illness, and don’t use slurs, even disguised.
- No threats or violence. Don’t threaten, encourage or celebrate violence against anyone.
- No encouragement of self-harm. Never tell anyone to hurt themselves. If someone seems at risk, report the comment so we can respond.
2. Keep it safe and legal
In short: nothing illegal, nothing sexual, nothing that puts anyone at risk.
- No sexual content, and absolutely nothing that sexualises minors. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
- No illegal content or activity, including promoting illegal goods or services, fraud, or instructions for crimes.
- No dangerous or prohibited products. Don’t promote weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, recalled or unsafe products, or ways to get around product safety, customs or tax rules.
- Respect privacy. Don’t post anyone’s personal information, such as addresses, phone numbers, emails or private messages, and don’t share images of people without their permission.
3. Be honest and useful
In short: real opinions from real people, no ads.
- No links. Comments can’t contain links or web addresses (including disguised ones such as “shop dot com”).
- No spam or self-promotion. Don’t advertise your shop, products, services, courses, groups or affiliate codes, and don’t post the same comment over and over.
- No fake engagement. Don’t buy, sell or trade likes, use several accounts to boost or attack comments, or coordinate others to do so.
- Disclose connections. If you are connected to a product, brand or supplier you mention (for example you sell it, work for the brand or are paid by it), say so clearly.
- No scams or false claims. Don’t make misleading claims about products, suppliers, earnings or results, and don’t promise that others will make money. Sharing your honest experience is welcome.
- Advice with care. You can share what worked for you, but don’t present yourself as a lawyer, accountant, customs broker or other professional unless you are one. Tax, customs and product safety rules vary by country.
4. Be yourself
In short: your nickname and photo must be your own and appropriate.
- No impersonation. Don’t pretend to be another person, a brand, a supplier, or scrollecom staff. Nicknames can’t use words such as “scrollecom”, “admin”, “support”, “official” or “verified”.
- Appropriate nicknames and photos. They must follow these Guidelines: no slurs, sexual content, hate symbols, violence, or other people’s personal information.
- Respect intellectual property. Only use photos and content you have the right to use. Don’t use other brands’ logos or trademarks in a way that suggests you are them.
- One account per person. Don’t create accounts to get around a restriction or ban.
5. Your tools: report and block
In short: you can report or block from any comment.
- Report: long-press a comment and choose Report, then pick a reason (spam, harassment, hate, sexual content, violence, self-harm, the person’s name or photo, or other). The comment is hidden from you immediately.
- Block: long-press a comment and choose Block. You and that user won’t see each other’s comments.
- Not in the app, or reporting a video? Email hello@agistudio.lt with a link or description of the content, why you think it breaks these Guidelines or the law, and your contact details. You don’t need an account to report illegal content. The Terms (section 15) list what a report of illegal content should include.
- Copyright or trademark problems: see section 16 of the Terms.
6. How we enforce these Guidelines
In short: filters, reports and people. The response fits the problem, and repeat abuse means losing your account.
- Before posting: automated filters block comments with links, certain offensive words (including disguised spellings), duplicates and posting at excessive rates. You will see a message explaining why a comment couldn’t be posted.
- After posting: reports are reviewed by our team. We aim to review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. A comment reported by several different people may be hidden automatically until we review it.
- What we may do: hide or remove content; reset a nickname or remove a profile photo; limit commenting; suspend an account; or terminate it. Serious violations (such as threats, sexual content involving minors, or hate) can lead to immediate termination and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities. We take into account how serious the violation is, whether it was intentional, and whether it has happened before.
- Repeat infringers: we terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others’ intellectual property or repeatedly break these Guidelines.
- Context matters: we may allow content that would otherwise break a rule where it is clearly educational, documentary or in the public interest, for example warning others about a scam without naming private individuals.
7. If we act on your content or account
In short: we tell you what we did and why, and you can ask for a second look.
When we remove or restrict your content or account, we tell you what we did, why, which rule it relates to, and whether automated tools were involved, unless the law or safety prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or email hello@agistudio.lt within 6 months. Someone who wasn’t involved in the original decision will review it, and we will restore your content or account if we made a mistake. The same applies if you reported something and disagree with our decision. The Terms (section 15) describe other options, including out-of-court dispute settlement in the EU.
Please don’t misuse reports or appeals: repeatedly sending reports you know are unfounded can lead to your reports being ignored for a period.
